Delighted to actually hear Ric Zweig music on "FireBrand Rock Radio" located in Crewe, United Kingdom and the brainchild of Rick (Doc) Palin. Please check it out. Doc runs one of the best net radio outlets we've come across and deserves a much bigger audience. Thanx again, FireBrand.

We are delighted to learn of our selection and inclusion in the Vents' Magazine INFEST compilation album. 'Running Out of Time" was the song chosen by Rafa and his gang. Rafa advised via email that they hope to have this ready before Christmas. We look forward to receiving a copy of the finished product.

More great news. Just received this email from Rick (the Doc) Palin from www.firebrandrockradio.com. "Hi Ric, Love the tracks, will be playing you on Firebrand a lot. Just received notice of our selection to be included on the playlist at Musports Radio, an online radio music sports outlet out of Winchester, Virginia. Yesterday, we sent them the title tune from our 4th. album, "Running Out of Time". Today, they advised that RZ music fits their format. Tomorrow, a copy of our latest album, "All the Best" will be headed their way. Thanx guys. Much appreciated. RZ

We received today the following no cost evaluation of our music from Eugene Foley of Foley Entertainment, Inc. - Music Consultants. "Dear Ric, Thanks for submitting the material for the evaluation. I enjoyed the songs very much. The guitar playing, songwriting and vocals are all strong, polished and memorable. The guitar tone is awesome and the rhythm section provides a solid steady foundation." On a rating scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest, we were rated a 4 on lead vocals, 4.5 on musicianship, 4 on lyrics, 4.5 on music composing, 4 on arrangements, and a rarely given 5 on melodies. Thanks Gene for your kind words and generous scores. Also thanks for not trying to sell us something. By not doing so, it validates your review even more. When I wrote Gene to thank him for those comments, he added the following testimonial: "Ric Zweig is the consummate professional. His songwriting, singing, musicianship and performance skills are all outstanding. Ric's songs are intelligent, memorable and are delivered with passion." In a personal note accompanying the above, he added, "Your music really brightened my day earlier this month and when music can move me like that, I know it's something special." Thanks again. RZ

Excited to learn that our social commentary tune, "What's Going On Today" off our new album was just picked up by Celtica Radio out of Bridgend, Wales, United Kingdom. They have informed us that we will be in rotation within a week or so. Check it out at www.celticaradio.com

Just received word from Dan Herman of Radio Crystal Blue out of Philadelphia, Pa. that Ric Zweig music will make its debut there next week. We are delighted to report this news. Our new social commentary tune, "What's Going On Today", mixed and played on by California's Vito Tuxedo, was awarded 'top runner-up' status in the Gary Allen World's Best Song Competition. Mr. Allen previously was the drummer for 'The Charlie Daniels Band'. The significance of being a 'top runner-up' has yet to be determined, but will advise when we know more. RZ

Ric Zweig Music has received its first licensing deal. The offer came from Audio Fount Music Licensing, a company which provides music supervisors, from around the globe, with tunes for whatever project they are working on. The tunes selected by Audio Fount are "Shine" and "Running Out Of Time" from our previous album. This non-exclusive deal has the potential to broaden the public's exposure to our music. More good news to report. Gran Royale Music (GRM) Radio Network has a new show entitled "Eat. Party. Rock." They have selected and invited RZ music to be aired on their show. Details are sketchy at this point. We will report more when we know more. RZ

Just returned home from our beloved Panama to receive the good news that Pyletown, an online website run by Jim Pyle (www.pyletown.org) has selected Ric Zweig music to be a Pyletown featured artist. We look forward to being the subject of a full length article on the site that runs for a full month time period. Pyletown uses its site to promote artists thru blogs and feature articles.
